UFC needs more Bad Blood

I'm tired of hearing how certain fighters in the UFC won't fight someone b/c they are their great friend outside the octagon so they would never step in it and fight them even though they are in the same weight class.

Bad blood makes for more excitement before and during the fight, not the small trash-talking that goes on right before the fight and then being best friends against afterwards.

I understand they all have to appreciate each other and the athelets they are, but you don't have to like the people you work with and are involved with and going to fight. I guess b/c of all the training camps people have where you become work otu buddies with someone and close it kinda ruins it a bit more in the UFC as far as hate.

Pride gives me feeling of more bad blood between fighters, maybe it may even be wrong b/c you get more fighters who are japenese or non-english speaking and there always is a general dis-like for someone that is not just like how you are in the world, which makes for good entertainment

More bad blood = WWE
what are you talking about don't compare somethign that is fake to something that is real, thats just moronic.

More bad blood ='s more MONEY, more entertainment leading up to the fight, more hype during the fight, and more money b/c of higher PPV buys, which lead to bigger purses and more media attention.

Every sport there is bad blood, don't compare WWE to anything real sport

I'd fight my best friend to get a title shot and $100,000.

I'd kick his ass good too. But i'd still have a beer with him afterwards and compliment him on the shot he got on my nose that bloodied it up and ever so nearly got me in that arm bar.

If you cant fight a "friend" your not a real fighter or your scared he's trained with you so much you cant beat him as he knows you too well.

But with Chuck he's got so much money now why would he need to fight a friend, he doesnt need the money anymore anyway.

no one can ever have enough money and thats a fact. Also these guys now are all about promoting the sport and making it bigger and bigger, so fighting someone that is your friend if its going to make a great fight, they should get it on
