At this point the LHW division is stacked and Harris is an up an coming star.. His past 3 fights against BJJ undefeated prospects have all been finished.. 2 Tkos and 1 ko.
If he beats Maiquel Falcão in an impressive fashion or finishes him, I think it will be time to feed him to a top 10 opponent. Maybe since Bader didnt look to hot vs lil nog, if Harris wins, maybe Jon Jones vs Gerald harris? They're both very strong wrestlers and I think they have similar kind of wild styles and Harris has that wrestling stance that he used vs branch.. I would love to see this fight. I just dont see Bader and Jones a good matchup anymore.

Not a chance. Jones deserves to (and will) fight a top 5 LHW fighter in his next fight.

true, but who at this point? Gerald Harris has proved as much if not a little less than jones.

Fairly certain he's fighting Bader. Since it was said the winner of Bader vs Nogeuira would be fighting Jon Jones.

I know but im not sold Bader is a top 10 guy yet from his last fight.. well see. i do see Harris as a future contender though. Maybe the loser of Bader and Jones?

Think that'd be a bit of a step down in competition for Harris, and I'm sure he wouldn't want that fight right now anyway, Bone's looks unstoppable.

Jones needs a big fight at this point, and Harris isn't much of a big name. Isn't it supposed to be Bader-Jones now?

before moving up to 205 Anderson Silva style, maybe Harris should fight somebody in his own weight class who is NOT making his ufc debut

Well, I've said that multiple times(I don't know how many others have perscribed to this idea)that it doesn't matter how you win, only who you beat. And Bader has a MUCH better resumee than Jones. Jardine and Nogeuira alone are more important and valuable wins IMO than Vera and Matyushenko.

Nogeuira is a (debateable) Top 10 LHW in the UFC. I think that beating a top 10 convincingly, UD or not, gets you top 10 status.

Also Harris is a middleweight. Jones is already a gargantuously lanky LHW, I doubt he could make the cut and Harris isn't a huge MW.

Im just saying it may be a possibility if Harris moves up, I think good matchups for Harris if he beats Maiquel Falcão is Alan belcher, Joe Doerkson, Chris Leben, hell maybe even Damien Maia since he just beat Mario Miranda as well as Harris.
