I feel that Lutter fought an underenthusing fight that night, after not making weight he appeared defeated immediately.

You got a point. Probably playing down Chael for sure and not giving him the credit especially now the cats out of the bag. Fawk Chael...he cheated especially after mouthing off like that. Career down the tubes...

Nate as champion hopefully means Anderson Silva will move up to LHW permanent if Shogun holds onto the belt. How killer will that be. I honestly think that Anderson Silva at LHW is far more dangerous than at middle weight power wise. I don't know if you guys see it, but with that extra 20 pounds of muscle, he packs on serious fire power.

He did, but even gassed, overweight and demotivated as he was, he was Silva's toughest fight until Sonnen. He had him mounted and gave him some very good shots in both rounds before that sloppy gassed armbar attempt turned the table.

Certainly far more of a challenge than Franklin and Sakurai who Silva dominated.

He said Franklin for several reasons because he respects him, chael hates him, and what chael did is completely invalidated because he took testosterone. He is also arguably the best MW he has ever faced and Mach is the best WW he ever faced. What Andy did to Rich doesn't really have any bearing on the skills Rich brings to the table. Arguing that Chael was Silva's toughest fight ever is ******* stupid also Silva has lost to people he beat Chael+(R)oids.

What do you guys expect? Would you seriously still give credit to a man who talked like that about you and your culture and on top of that cheated in the actual fight

The entire Black House crew has handled this situation very well if you ask me!

What´s up with these guys?
They don´t care about the crap Sonnen said, wonder what their reaction would be if it was the opposite situation...

It annoys me that he says his toughest fight is vs a guy he smashed to pieces 2x without getting hit with a big shot once.....

typical of Andersons subtle and sometimes not so subtle arrogance imo

Like Lidell said. (If he didnt want to mention Sonnen because of the roiding and OTT trash talk, well i can kind of, kind of understand that), but where was Silvas mention of Dan Henderson and Travis Lutter? They were Silvas toughest fights after Sonnen and he gives neither of them any respect.

lol @ rich franklin being his toughest fight, just lol.

Of course he can't admit that though, because Sonnen refuses to kiss his ass like Franklin does. lol at Franklin being his toughest fight. Don't worry, the moment you'll face another wrestler, one with a sub defence, we won't have to hear this nonsense about inferior strikers being your best competition. Because if that happens, they'll be scraping you off the mat with a mop.
Lol at you and others for actually getting mad at Silva for his comments.

He can play Chael's game of disrespect too, but he doesn't need to be a loud mouth about it. He simply says an answer you don't like and he gets a reaction out of you. Lol at you.

I love the way Silva toys with people, without having to be a look at me loud mouth.

Whether or not Franklin had the belt is irrelevant, every fighter Silva has fought since then has been a title contender and around the caliber level to touch that gold. Yeah, maybe there's some small mental pressure of being the underdog against an established champ, but in no way does that compare to a hungry challenger who ACTUALLY HAS the tools to beat you. I'll take mental pressure over a guy smashing my face into the canvas any day.
Dude are you an undisputed MMA champion? or better yet are you Anderson Silva? NO.

So Please keep your mouth shut and stop telling us what you think his answer should be. The sonnen fight may have been the most physically demanding fight of his career but mentally the Franklin fight may have been harder....and a lot of athletes acknowledge the toughest part of any competition is the mental game.

Its one thing to doubt Silva's sincerity but its another thing to blatantly accuse him of BS'ing just because he has a different opinion or because he's not paying lip service to your hero Chael Sonnen.
