What's Next For Sean Sherk..

He's getting his momentum back.. and he just defeated one of the hottest up and coming prospects at LW in the UFC...

What's a fight that makes sense to give the muscle shark and why??

Interesting!
Honestly, considering he was absent for such a long time and things in the LW have changed a lot in that time, it's not that easy to pick an opponent for Sherk.
1. Kenny Florian - The first name that came to my mind. Would be a sweet rematch, but seing how poorly Florian has done against Maynard, and wrestlers in general, i don't know if this fight would be a good idea.
2. Clay Guida - always entertaining, he would bring the fight to Sherk. Sherk would still have the advantage when it comes to wrestling, but Guida can wrestle also

3.Charles Oliveira - the future LW Champion imo.
This kid is such a huge talent. Has shown big improvements in his standup game. I don't think he could match Sherk's wrestling, but who could?!
But Oliveira has such sick BJJ, i think he wouldn't mind going to the ground with Sherk. Dunham was so close to submitting Sherk, that i am alsomt 100% convinced Oliveira would do it.

.

BELIEVE!

I beleive he's 1 fight away from a title shot... If I had to choose right now... I'd say.....

I thought I posted in this thread, I must have deleted it.

I would like to see Jim Miller up against Sherk like they were supposed to be, and they both line up well. If not, a fight with Clay Guida would be nice to have in the history books.

I like the Miller idea...

I think Guida is swimming in a different talent pool right now so a victory over him at this moment doesn't put you on the next level IMO.

Sherk should get the Mat Hamill "win" treatment.

Dunham should get the JJ treatment.

Considering that it is highly debatable that he beat Dunham, I would like to see a rematch before he goes any further up the ranks. I know that many here don't like the instant rematches, but I think this is deserving.

Rematch with Evan Dunham, I disagree with the decision. I didn't see Sherk do much in the 2nd and 3rd rounds other than take downs..
