I think he hit the P4P definition pretty good. Brock Lesnar will never be a P4P fighter unless the UFC markets him as one, and he is still the baddest man on the planet.

Cheat Sonnen...wow this guy is such a joke, he's gonna have to understand that he never fought Anderson, he fought a baldly hurt Anderson who couldn't fight at all,....and he still wasn't good enough to win. He clearly has no respect for any fighters in there, even if he's a noob who haven't done anything to be there. This is a fighter, sorry a wrestler, who deserved an after the bell shot like Henderson did to Bisping, and i hope Wand will do that job.

no fighter fights at 100%. a little rib injury is nothing.

Chael prob aggreviated it in the 1st round....

how???

by pounding the crap outta Anderson and controlling him like a 5 year old child, thats how.

Anderson still won and showed alot of skills but i hate his fans making this injury excuse in a fight he won.

When Rothwell won his fight vs Yvel ON A TORN ACL, he didnt go around making big excuses etc etc, infact, he didnt even make a big deal of it at all, the doctors report revealed the injury.

Andersons injury was revealed by the doctors aswell, nothing that serious, nothing like a torn acl. he isnt making it an excuse, why are u?

1. The doctors advised Silva not to fight.

2. A broken/bruised rib is often more painful than an ACL after the initial tear

Totally...Chael threw that fight so he wouldn't hurt him, Silva should be thankful. He is a model of sportsmanship. How can you not love this guy? WAR SONNEN!

You must've not read the second sentence in the original post.

lol what doctors?? silvas doctors??

do you know you actually need to clear a medical exam to fight, you cant just say no to the athletic commission and they arent letting you fight with a broken rib.

also after the fight the injury was revealed in the doctors report but shows nothing of a break or a severe type injury and that was AFTER taking a whooping for 22 min.

believing this "the doctors told me not to fight" stuff is like believing Titos cracked skull.

If docs really tell you not to fight, you cant fight. prob some quack in brazil told him not to fight but more likely thats all BS.

You obiously have zero understanding of how rib injuries work, so I'll just let you continue living in your fantasy world.

Very true, i had both, you can fight with a torn acl, not with bruised ribs. Ribs hurt like hell, as soon as you move, it hurt. Silva had a hard time just breathing 2 days before the fight.

ANd it was very obvious right in the first seconds of the fight, he wasn't even moving, not foot work, no head movement, he was standing still, it was clear something was wrong. Watch the fight again and tell me this was the normal Anderson Silva....
