I always wished the UFC would do away with the cage and just use some type of BIG open floor with no fence or rings.

Well obviously few things that Chael Sonnen can be taken seriously, he says the moisture absorbing mat they use on the floor of the Octagon scrapes your knees up like crazy and makes it difficult to walk afterwards.

If that's true then extended ground combat with top control probably makes you take a second thought in regards to throwing a knee.

Well I thought you could've said it better. Something like merg some PRIDE rules with the Unified Rules would make more sense. Saying unified in a sentence twice just doesn't make sense!

Come to think of it that is a scary thought. But then again have you ever seen anyone that heavy use knees on the ground?

Ya he would get raped by those guys under pride rules

. I'm willing to put any money if pride was still around and u put lesnar in the ring with Fedor, fedor would beat the living shit out of him. In the ufc i can lesnar pushing fedor to the cage and take him down. But in a ring he pushes fedor into the ropes fedor would bounce back and reverse the technique.
