Yeah, Silva was never knocked down. Chael took him down again and again. Silva even got some footwork in there!

Ya he did take him down over and over again but in the end Silva still won while being injured and Chael had a advantage. |

Because Silva basically refused to give up. Even when he was loosing he was trying to find a way to win. That is what brought him to win!

i really dont think peds help you that much for your takedowns, he was a college pro wrestler like brock and he has a lot of skill, with or without peds he would have done the exact same thing

he does have skills no doubt, but when you take performance enhancers it puts everything in doubt. Plus take downs do take a lot physically out of you sonnen looked fresh taking AS down in the fifth as he did in the first. Anyways he still lost at the end of the day. We both know a healthy silva on steriods would kill sonnen. |

Sucks we won't see Andy fight until next year! I still don't get why people hate Silva so much, I've always thought he was a pretty classy guy.

He is a very classy guy. I think the main reason people think he comes across as arrogant is because he is a happy man. That might sound weird but if you watch his interviews he's always smiling. When he talks about other opponents, regardless of what he is saying, even if he's praising them he is smiling... and it can come across to some poeople as cocky.
Think of a guy like Matt Mitrione. He's green, but talented and is always laughing and smiling... but he's not on top of MMA rankings all over the world, so that's okay.
Other than that, some people are just pricks and decide to hate someone no matter what they do.
