Diego Sanchez vs. Koscheck
Thoughts ???
Now this fight has been confirmed it will be interesting to see where Koscheck is nowadays. You would suspect a Sanchez win here...
Surely if Diego wins this he MUST get a title shot against GSP....or maybe Serra (not likely).
In the mold of the Forrest V Stephan fight...TUF V TUF.
April 7 in texas.

first off, he might not win. kos is getting alot better. but i do think deigo would be able to pull it out.
secondly, it really looks as though dana is giving hughes a rematch here in the future. so deigo might have to fight hughes to get to GSP or just wait in line till GSP vs Hughes III happens.

man how many times can the ufc give diego the shaft. if they give hughes a rematch before diego gets a shot, thats pathetic. btw yes diego will crush koscheck. i wanna see diego vs hughes, then the winner against gsp. so basically i wanna see deigo vs gsp. i think hughes is fighting lytle because he needs to improve his stand up before facing gsp again, and for him, lytle is a challenge in the stand up department. hughes doesnt wanna get embarrased by gsp again, and he knows he would if he doesnt improve drastically.

Koscheck will put up a reasonable fight, he could even win but imo Sanchez will do it via ground and pound as i would imagine he is getting pissed that he has had to wait for this long after fighting so many decent opponents for a title shot and then gets Koscheck put in front of him who has done nothing to warrant a fight between them.

I believe that Diego will be waiting for Kos to shoot and catch him with a knee. After that flying knee Diego gave Joe Riggs I have no reason to believe he lacks the skills to deliver a knee or a well timed punch when Kos shoots. I like Kos and I am not saying he isnt skilled but I believe Diego is exceptionaly good.

Man, I called this fight awhile ago ... and it is ****ing happening!
Oh, and Serra will still get to fight St. Pierre before anyone else does. Either Hughes or Sanchez will be next, most likely it will be Hughes though.

I think Diego wanted this fight, to A shut Kos up and B get in another fight before he gets a title shot. I believe he stated when Rogan asked him that he wanted another fight before fighting the champ. I don't think Diego will fight Hughes unless Hughes takes his belt back from GSP.
