lutter has a chance if he gets sylvia to the ground. standing he WILL be knocked out or TKO'd. however, lutter isn't well rounded enough to beat some of the other top fighters at middleweight.

In my honest ****ing opinion, the "Black Belt" that Anderson has is just there so Joe Rogan can be like "Anderson's no slouch on the ground". Until I see him displaying black belt level BJJ, I will not believe. Similar to Rich and Vitor.

Brownpimp, have you really supported Evans since he came out of his mothers womb? That's crazy, but more power to ya man.

silva's bjj is not good enough to hang on the ground with lutter.

anderson silva's devastasting standup and earthquake preformances in his two ufc fights have blinded many fans and they do not realize he has weaknesses that lutter could capitilize on while the truth is out of everyone in the mw div only a great ground specialist like lutter would have a shot at actually beating him

So ive read through all this stuff, and it seems that people are confident that Lutter will out wrestle Silva and force a win if it ever came to that (it never will). But im curious, everyone is hyping Lutters ground skills saying thats his only chance, how good are his skills? i mean the people he fought on the TUF had no ground game at all? so how good is lutter on the ground? Sure he has a Black belt but so does Silva?

Even though I don't believe in Anderson's ground game, people know that I am a firm hater of the Lutter bandwagon we got going on here. It basically solidifies that a lot of people here have no idea what they are talking about, and are just going with the hype/going for the underdog so on the slight chance that he does win they can rub it our faces.

I've said this many times, and I will say it again.

Lutter = Slow, inexplosive legsweeps/tosses for takedowns, not a double/single leg. This is bad, because he needs to get in close to do this. I wonder what would happen then.

Silva = Explosive striker, great headkicks, clinch work and knees. I see him throwing a flying knee on the slow takedown attempt(ala his fight with Newton) to get the devastating win.

very true, and once again we see lutter has no agility or intensity in his takedowns. And Lutter's BJJ didn't look amazing i mean he threw away a perfect armbar opppurtunity and could have easily won the fight at the end.
