Randy was never Top 5? =/ The guy has wins over Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Jeremy Horn, Pedro Rizzo, Kevin Randleman, Vitor Belfort, Tim Sylvia, Gabriel Gonzaga, Mark Coleman and Brandon Vera. He was an olympic gold medallist in Greco Roman, which he adapted to Mixed Martial Arts superbly. Randy in his prime was definitely Top 5, and I'd say with 1 more decent win he could be Top 5 at 205 now. How can you dismiss Captain America like that? The dude is a legend of the sport. As for the camp, I'm pretty sure Forrest Griffin was champ at 205, and Gray Maynard is fighting Frankie for the 155 title next. There's some very good fighters at that camp.
I think this is probably Jake Shields' hardest fight to date. Martin Kampmann is a legit contender at 170. Shields has fought dangerous strikers, and dangerous grapplers, but never fought anyone with the mix of dynamic striking and grappling, which is a mix Kampmann posesses. People can under-rate Kampmann's grappling as much as they like, but the dude knows how to stuff a takedown, and trains at a superb camp for learning wrestling. I seriously would not be surprised to see Kampmann nullify Shields' grappling and knock him out on the feet, or at least knock him down on the feet and then finish him. It all depends on just how good Kampmann's TDD is, if Shields can get him down with relative ease, then Kampmann will lose; but I think it'll be via decision as I don't see Shields submitting Kampmann.
