give it a sec bro. a lot of the most active posters here are in americas and europe, it's either the middle of the night or sunday morning for a lot of us
Rd 1: Camozzi lit him up with strikes for pretty much the entire round but Yang scored two takedowns and even took his back. It could go either way (assuming its not scored with the wrestling ruberic)10-9
Rd 2: Yang has solid strikes and even though Camozzi was putting together longer combinations, he wasn't really landing anything. Yang. 10-9
Rd 3. Camozzi stunned Yang and got him bleeding. He landed more shots than in round 2 and even attempted a kimura. Camozzi. 10-9
I thought it was a very close fight. I had Yang had the fight 29-28 but i wouldn't say he was robbed.
Paul Taylor on the other hand... i had that fight 30-27 Taylor, and only one round was close! I simply can't understand how 2 judges saw Stout winning 2 rounds there, it boggles the mind! Worse thing is thats 2 losses back to back for Taylor now so he is probably close to being cut despite clearly winning that fight!
Korean Zombie has lost one close fight via split decision against Garcia.. probably one of the hardest fights to score ever.
Stun Gun has zero losses, and decisions in America against Sadollah, Grant and a split vs Matt Brown.
I had Dong Yi Yang winning rounds 1 and 2 but the judges saw it differently. This isn't the first or last time this is going to happen, especially when people like Cecil Peoples are scoring.
Nice work pulling the racial card though, I guess.
If you calmed down and read page 1 of this thread you'd see people were using logic. Then you started talking again and getting all heated and well, you know.
almost everyone thought Stun Gun won that fight against Karo. Like everyone who actually watched that fight including dana white and randy coutoure.
there were actually a huge uproar after the fight which died down after the decision was overturned anyway.
so no it wasnt everyone.
and the Gono fight is a bit more debatable but I still truly beleive Gono won that and there were a lot of people who thought that too.
and i included taylor who i thought was robbed.
im not even talking about just korean or japanese fighters.
im talking about all hometown decisions and just terrible judgin in general that plague the UFC.
Trolling aside I have to agree that I think all the fights listed so far are robberies in my opinion. Garcia/Zombie seemed close but in reality Zombie outstruck Garcia about 3:2. The only round that I would even consider to give to Garcia is round 3 and personally I gave that one to Zombie too. Round 1 was so one sided that it would easily have been a 10-8 in kickboxing.
I agree with the TS on Hardy v Gono and was at the event in question*. I think Camozzi vs Ox was a very close call but having Cecil Peoples judging dosnt help at all. I scored it for Ox but can see how Cammozzi may have won.
As for Taylor Stout that was a robbery, one clown scored it 30-27 to Stout, no way.
You made me think about it.. and there is some truth in it dayslime.
Thumbsup that look out for our Oriental friends
