Travis Lutter as a Champion!

If Travis Lutter does beat Anderson Silva, how long do you think he'll hold on to that belt? Do you think he'll become a great champion like Matt Hughes or have a short reign like Dave Menne? Your thoughts!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

i dont really think he'll beat silva but if he does, he'll have silva and rich breathing down his neck. so i dont think he would have a long title reign. in fact, he'll probably lose his title defense.

Let's do the math..

Anderson Silva, Nate Marquardt, Rich Franklin, Mike Swick, Jason MacDonald, Yushin Okami > Travis Lutter

That about does it.

You're just a cook...

Theres no way that Lutter is winning because he doesn't look nearly as cool enough to be a champion.

The scale just beat Lutter, I guess he'll just have admire the belt from afar. He just missed his chance, failed the weight. Sucks for him.

I guess this thread is pretty much moot now! I think this was a case of his body just turning against him!

Wow that is so pathetic I can't even beleive it. A chance of a lifetime like this and he can't lay off the burgers? Didn't he try cutting earlier to make sure he could do it??? Does Lutter get a second shot? Pathetic.

I would normally agree with that theory but:
1)The guy has had 3 months to prepare
2)This is a championship bout for heaven's sake
3)He's supposed be a freakin' professional
4)WHEN? Please tell me WHEN he's going to get this kind of a chance again???????
