He didnt have anymore water weight to lose. If he did he would have lost it. His problem is that he needs to shed pounds of his natural weight and not allow himself to get up to 215 where he usually is. He shouldnt allow himself to get over 200. If he does this than he can she the 15 pounds with no problem.

exactly what i was saying man. no one seems to understand that the cutting weight is easy as long as you have a reasonable amount of weight to cut. lutter is at fault for his living weight, which i would assume is around 210-215. he needs to be between 195 and 200 pounds so he can make weight easier.

Man, screw that. If you're fighting for a shot at the freaking title in the UFC, you should cut yourself somewhere under your short's line, bleed out a pound, and get it stitched up. I kid you not.

I mean c'mon, this guy has the opportunity for a massive pay-off, the chance for the title which signifies him as the UFC's best middleweight, fame, and years of sponsorship fortunes and he gives it up because he can't lay off the sushi? Screw that man. If fighting is your life, than you do whatever it takes or you don't deserve to be there.

I sort of feel bad for lutter. But then again this was his oppurtinity of a lifetime and he had 2 hours to cut 2 pounds. Obviously he knew about his title shot for a long time so he should have tried to do something about his living weight. Now he is screwed.
