Cote should get to fight Silva
I think Cote should get bumped up to the main event for the title fight. I bet he'd take it for sure. He stepped up once to fight Tito Ortiz on short notice. He was the runner up, its only fair.

Is this another 'humorous' thread or are you serious?

Cote should get booted out of the UFC, that's what he should get.
I guess if you want him to leave with a rearranged nose then what you are saying makes sense.

No, what should happen is Lutter should have to forfeit and they should give someone else the shot like Swick or Marquardt...it just would suck for Silva to wait and for us to wait but Lutter should definitley have to sit.

True that! Besides the MMA fans, Cote is the def getting the shaft here. He worked his a$$ of to become a finalist then got beat by Lutter. Now Cote has to see Lutter's shot, which could have been his, being pi$$ed away like that. As a finalist who could have gotten that shot, I would be pi$$ed!

So...I m not sure what goes on next. Lutter gets beat tomorrow and gets a title shot some other time or whats the deal? What if he wins in the non-title affair? I didnt even get to see the weigh ins, this is actually the first I ve heard if it.

I mean that cote should get bumped up on THIS card, hes already on it, since hes the runner up, let him have shot, if not even for a title fight, just a way to stick it Lutter.

true dat, Cote got wrecked by lutter. leben got wrecked by silva. i dont know how cote compares to leben but they seem similar in that they like to bang, and silva would pretty much kill cote.

cote has a dark cloud over him, he's like joe riggs, he just cant catch a break but i dunno, i like scott smith too, if he loses again, cote is definately out the ufc..which sucks but no matter how good of a fighter you think you are, you need the results
