Once that was sealed I think he asked GSP to pull out so he could have a fight on another card. I also think this whole Lutter not making weight thing seems pretty odd. I mean seriously, you cant cut two pounds in two hours?! Maybe Dana didnt want the belt changing hands again so quick and this makes it a sure thing?

This is all speculation and I have no proof or articles to back it up but it just seems a little too set up to me. Anyone else have this feeling?
Most of the weight-cutting is losing water. Guys who've cut weight as far as they can go are basically on dangerously low levels of water in their bodies. They can run around for half an hour in a sauna and barely a bead of sweat will break on them. It is so not good for you to be like that. But anyway, the point is that you can easily not be able to cut 2 pounds in 2 hours.

But in general, I have absolutely no feeling whatsoever that the UFC is fixed. People are always inventing conspiracy theories because they can't accept what is true in 99.9% of cases- life is weird and random.

Man the UFC is not rigged Lutter, just dosen't know how to lose weight remember Vs Cote he barley got down to 185. I understand y he couldn't cut the rest of the weight the guy looked like a zombie at the weigh ins but then again he could lose a little fat he's not the most cut up guy.

This sentence makes everything else you said pointless. Its called life, people. Things happen. You need to stop watching so much TV. This isn't a movie where everything is going to be perfect all the time. Injuries and mistakes happen when you are training hard and taking your body to the limit every week.

Can we please just enjoy MMA and stop all of these childish theories?

Not everyone can look cut, it is a genetics thing.

Lutter was probably at his limits in dehydrating, he was just an idiot for not planning ahead and losing a couple lbs before the weigh-in. By now, he should have a steady system of how to make weight for his fights.

If he started to diet sooner and slowly lose ~2lbs/week until he could get down to a comfortable weight and then lose all of that water mass, he could have made weight. The guy had so much time to prepare for this fight and he failed.

Well im not at all saying Lutter would not cut weight on purpose. But if he see's that he cant compete seriously in MMA or the UFC, and he's offered 1 mill to not cut weight AND lose. Im sure he'd take it, for someone who cant compete at top level 1 mill is great.

And if it wasnt that, that he believes he can win, and thinks he does have a chance WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU RISK NOT CUTTIN WEIGHT. To me its a little retarded. Its like not turning up to the biggest job interview in your life because you didnt want to risk looking tired 0_o

Although not a conspiricy, it is very odd and a little retared. If he didnt take a bribe he will be kicking himself sooooooo hard.

it sucks because he really only needed to lose 1 lb not 2. Your allowed to weight in a pound over weight. I feel bad for Lutter but man how could you F*** that up????????

I apologize for my post being a little harsh. I just got frustrated because some people out there might actually believe what you posted and that would help to take away respect for MMA and the fighters. With that said, I shouldn't have lumped you in with some of the people on this forum that say stupid things.
