Well if Evans wins he won't be fighting for the title.

The point is the way the UFC is now they have three options for the next title fight

1. rematch between Cain/JDS
2. Mir
3. Schaub

Brock is out 6 months with a med suspension, he won't come back and fight for the title right away

Carwin is coming off a loss, hasn't fought anyone yet and just had back surgury

Roy Nelson has contract problems

So basically by default Brendan Schaub could be fighting for the title this summer.

Hey, don't hate on Maldonado, that dude is a mother****er. Losing a striking battle to that guy is nothing to be ashamed of. Maldonado has Pro Boxing experience (22-0 with 21 KO's), a great chin, superb hooks, a lethal uppercut and all with scary power. Losing to that guy not a bad thing what so ever. A lot of dudes would get KTFO by Maldonado if they stood with him; don't let his slightly lackluster UFC debut fool you, he's a beast.

i honestly dont know if TUF has the answers anymore. why would these guys sign up for the exposure when they can get money and freedom outside of the big org. if the moneys right, success will be rewarded.
