UFC 125 Co- Main Event

Surely the UFC would have to announce another fight to add to the card and thus a new co-main event.

New Years shows are usually good ones, This card at the moment is stacked with great fights but still this card needs a new co-main event in my opinion.

I doubt the UFC will have Guida and Gomi (although a great fight) co-main an event.

Do you guys think a new fight will be announced?

As i am one who is going to this event, obviously i was devestated with Aldo's injury and although its still going to be a good event, the fans deserve a bigger co-main event, especially considering Gray and Frankie are not terribly exciting

A lot of people on here would love to see Faber Vs Torres on the card. 125 was gonna be the first showcase of how good the guys coming in from WEC are and Faber/Torres is the next best way for the UFC to do it.

Why wouldn't it be? The last co-main event was Andre Winner and Dennis Siver.

Even after the injury, which was the star-studded attraction of Sakara vs Rivera.

Hell, Gomi-Guida is a comparatively GOOD co-feature when considering what we've been getting recently.

A new super fight that is worthy of a co-main event would be nice but I think it is unlikely.

It is still a very good card.

Just checked the UFC site and there have been some odd changes.

Leben vs Stann is now co-main event and Gomi-Guida have been pushed down the card and are to fight before the previous pre-lim fight of Vera vs Silva.

I guess they are going to try and promote Leben and Stann as having title implications. Gomi only has 1 win after getting tooled by Florian so I guess they can't promote that fight as a contenders fight. Leben however is on a 3 fight winning streak and Stann is 1-0 at middleweight.

Leban vs. Stann sounds exciting and should be good, but I am not happy to hear that this is the new co-main event for 125
