I think this was obvious even before the sonnen fight.
GSP has the perfect style to beat, to dominate anderson. He would take down anderson at will, control him and GNP him. GSP has excellent sub defense, so you can rule out a triangle choke from the spider and he isnt going to do a dan henerson and try and slug it out toe to toe.
Styles make fights.

The articles biased but honest in the most part, its just pointing out in ridiculous fashion that if there is anybody to beat Silva its a wrestler, a really good wrestler thats balanced good, which GSP is.

Pre Sonnen fight I think it would have been 60/40 for Silva, post Sonnen fight it is looking more like it might be the other way around.

I have been dying to see Silva get his ass kicked. And, GSP is just the man for the job!

Does not like!
I was so excited in the first paragraph for a nice analytical breakdown of their skills and how they've been applied.
Instead I get a nuthugging pile of fail.
This fight would be damn competitive IMO.

Silly article really.
This fight makes me nervous for GSP. GSP was tentative in striking with Dan Hardy. I'd be willing to bet my lunch money that Anderson Silva hits a lot harder and more accurate than Hardy does. GSP does have decent sub defense but just like the Sonnen vs. Silva fight, there is a full 25minutes for Anderson to work from his back on submission attempts. A top guy like Anderson who is a proven champion usually finds a way to make it happen.
With all that said, I'm a huge GSP fan and would be 100% behind him in this fight. Unfortunately my heart is saying Anderson would pull this one out. Dana always says he's committed to making the fights that the fans want, I bet we could get an overwhelming amount of signatures on a petition for this fight. He couldn't say no if we got enough people signed up for it. (I'm too lazy, I'm not starting the petition)

I thought there was an unspoken assumption that anything coming out of Bleacher Report should be immediately discounted and regarded as highly dangerous material. If some of the offending article has been read, please try to save as much of your brain matter as possible, as it dribbles out of your nostrils in protest.

Ah, very true. I just wish I new this prior to reading.
Someone please tell me why if Alves and Fitch think GSP is such a better fighter why wouldn't either of these two ENORMOUS welterweights move to 185 and take the belt from Anderson.

There's no way GSP could tolerate Chael's mouth in wrestling/parring sessions. ........having said that..... that actually might be a hell of afight in itself!! LOL

GSP is too small to take and keep Silva downlike Chael did. He himself said he wasn't big enough to fight Silva.
It would just be a matter of time before Silva caught him on the feet.
