I know this is a stupid question, but you have a HD box, right?

Or at least a TV that is equipped for HD.

Alright gentlemen(and the ocassional lady oot there), heres the deal. UFCfan33 aka Scott and a bunch of our friends is at my house watching it, and I am the comcast subscriber, and right now, pissed is an understatement to what I am. I have HDTV and an HDbox, and was watching HD earlier today and it worked fine, no problem. So tonite, I order the broadcast so we dont miss any fights because I have had problems with them before. So I look through the guide and see that no where does it say that it is offered in HD.

So I decide to call comcast, and of course wait the obligatory 15 minutes on hold before I talk to a "representative." I quote this name because the lady I spoke too was extremely rude to me, curt and essentially shoved me off of the phone before I could get her name again and left me quite pissed off. So I call back, and again wait the obligatory 15 minutes only to be hung up on before I even get to talk to somebody, which has happened before, but given the situation and the amount of alcohol I have already had, just lit me off, but I still managed to calm myself before the next "representative."

After another 10 minutes, I finally get to talk to "David" in West Virginia, and after a song and dance and him telling me nothing that I didn't already know, I finally get a supervisor. Here is where it really gets complicated. So I talk to a supervisor "Karnell", who explains to me that it is not comcasts fault that they are only a third party and they do not recieve the broadcast from HBO(apparently the broadcast company for the UFC) and for some reason do not broadcast it "in our area." After saying I don't understand why/how that can be so, he repeats himself, and I stop him, only to have him repeat it slower and louder, attempting, imo to make me feel like a retard. Now not much pisses me off as much as this does, and I interrupt him to tell him. This he obviously does not like and says there isn't anything they can do for me and that I need to take it up with HBO, and ushers me off the phone, a little bit nicer than the last lady.

Now this may not seem like a big deal to some of y'all, but I personally love HD, and was awaiting the day UFC is broadcast in HD, and absolutely LOVE sports in HD. I am a huge hockey fanatic and the experience is better imho. I pay almost $200 a month for comcast service including the internet service. I have been a customer of comcast for as long as I have been paying for TV service, and am quite frustrated at this point. I think I'm gonna call HBO when they open on monday, and see if comcast was ****ing me around. Usually at least comcast will offer some sort of free programming, Im pretty disappointed, and hope that the Next UFC broadcast I will be able to watch in HD.

I got nothing here, HD or not. Luckily I canceled it before they billed me.

I had the same problem.

I have Comcast, and no where was the UFC in HD found.

I called up the representatives, and they told me that they didn't have it.

I have Cox Cable over here and I called them to see. They said no dice because they do not have HD pay per view channels... shouldn't have anything to do with HBO... (HBO has nothing to do with the UFC for pay per views yet... right?)

Slightly bummed but as long as I didn't pay for that function, no big deal. I did notice they changed a lot of their onscreen menus and such probably to compensate for it to look good in HD. Even changed the clock!
