Do you guys still think Silva is still the #1 MW?
I never thought this in the first place but after watching him against a good wrestler/grappler. I am convinced that Filho, Lindland, Hendo and even Misaki would beat Silva. There styles are perfect to beat Silva and they would beat him pretty easily IMO.

I know that most rankings have Lindalnd #1, but on this forum it seemd like everyone thinks Silva is. So thats why I am asking.

Filho and Hendo are my favorite fighters so I am a little biased, but I think they would pretty much dominate Silva.

I think the Hendo match could really go either way. But I don't think Silva could handle Lindland or Filho.

i always thought hendo was. and then when he's done fighting wandy, they can set up the match between filho and hendo to see who really is the #1 MW. so no, anderson silva is/was not the #1 fighter at 185

It is clear that Silva needs to work on his sprawl. Because if that was Flho or Hendo dropping bombs at the end of round 1, he would have been out cold.

Silva's has knee surgery on BOTH knees 11 weeks ago. That's why his takedown defense looked like Heath Herrings and that's why he couldn't lock the triangle choke in as well as usual.

I never had Anderson at number one but I think its really close between him, Filho, Hendo, and Lindland. Last night Anderson proved he had a shitty sprawl but he also proved he had great BJJ, yes I know he had a black belt but I was really impressed.
