Big surprise there

Fun trivia: In danish "kamp" means "match" or "fight". So Martin Kampmann really lives up to his name.

His triangle escape in the Anderson fight was really good actually. He was nearly out of it before he went to sleep.

He actually did get out of it. He tapped to the arm bar not the triangle. He left his arm in there as he was trying to escape. If he simply turned his wrist he would have actually been fine and escaped.

Somebody else that sees everything. Good to see. It wasn't the triangle that submitted Sonnen.

He's said in an interview a couple times that he was out from the triangle.

He actually did the right thing. I know the guy gets hated on a lot for lack of sub defense, but I can guarantee you this guy knows a lot more about sub defense than it appears. He's been subbed by Mai and A. Silva. Both guys aren't exactly amateurs on the ground...

RIP Jordan Corder. Watch over me from above brother.

of course he knows how to escape these subs, the problem is the guys subbing him are just too good, getting subbed by maia proves nothing about how good your sub defense is

sonnen used the correct technique to get out of the triangle, silva STILL subbed him though because of his freakishly long legs, sonnen did everything right that fight, any1 else in his position still would have been subbed...the problem is he didnt see the sub coming...but how many fighters would? tired in the 5th round about to become champion and the other fighter has pretty much given up...not many fighters would expect a triangle at that point

but still...sonnen did everything he had to do correctly to win...and still lost, thats why the rematch is pretty point less...he cant improve on anything to beat AS

Like u said he just didn't see the triangle coming. No point for a rematch? He beat the piss out of Silva the whole fight. Why shouldn't he get a rematch.
