If GSP Moves Up.

Should he get an immediate title fight or should he get a tune up fight. I personally think the UFC should give him a relatively easy first MW fight. I'm not sure who would be easy fight, maybe Chris Leben. What do ya'll Think?

Why would they give one of the best P4P fighters anything but a top 10 or 5 match?

I say give him one match to see how he does at that weight.

It would suck if they put him against Silva immediately only to find out GSP's cardio is awful or something like that. They should give him anyone but Okami or Sonnen since he wouldn't stand a chance against those two.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

I'd like to see him handle a gatekeeper to get acclimated and feel good with the new weight.
I'm not saying this will happen but if his first match is against Silva and he gets wrecked everyone is going to cry about this and that. Give him a tune-up, let him get his confidence and then throw him into the fire.

He should have at least one tune-up fight just to see where he stands. Whenever somebody moves up or down they tend not to do so well. For instance, look at Brandon Vera when he moved down to LHW. He looked like complete crap against Reese Andy! Hell, he still looks like crap now.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Remember moving up is voluntary. GSP might not agree to move up unless he gets a title shot right off.

A real interesting non-title fight, because of the styles clash, would be GSP-Wanderlei.

That would be a real tasty match-up. That's a guaranteed main event super fight in itself. I like it.
