I'm a Hardy fan but fighting Kos is a very bad idea.
Give him someone like Chris Lytle, or Diego Sanchez, or even at a push Paulo thiago

This!
Both are always up for a war.
I'm a Hardy fan, and 1) don't wanna see him get beat by Kos; and 2) Hardy would be an undeserved step down for Kos.

Chris Lytle is on a 4 fight winning streak, 3 of them being impressive finishes. Hardy is on a 2 fight losing streak and just got KTFO. Giving Lytle a guy like Hardy is the equivalent of just spitting in his face.
Thiago vs Hardy is much more reasonable.

I don't think Hardy needs to face a strong wrestler like Koscheck right now. It would be a replay or Kos-Daley imo. There are probably better match-ups out there for both of them right now.

This! I love the matchup with Paulo Thiago and another one that comes to mind is Mike Pyle.

Yeah Kos would Daley UD him. I much prefer, as has been mentioned, Alves vs. Hardy.

Agreed.
It would be an exciting fight. Won't go the distance probably...

Both coming off recent losses to GSP, and both with something to prove... Could be a fun fight, considering Kos may want to stand with Hardy and try knock him out to prove he is still relevant.
And Hardy is desperate for a win after being beaten at his own game by Condit. I'm positive Hardy would be super motivated for the fight considering his training partner Daley was soundly beaten by Kos.
I think it could be a barn burner, and it keeps them both fighting top competition and would cement them in the top 3 or so in the division.
Thoughts?

I would have rather seen Kos vs Penn than Kos vs GSP.
