I was truly embarassed for the fighters making their debut. I mean, the UFC fans (Those that are boo'ing) show absolutely no respect and make complete assholes out of themselves.

in jackson's post fight interview he seemed to be annoyed with the booing even though he did it in a funny way. he mentioned that the booing kind of killed his spirits when he felt like he should be celebrating. its frustrating that the ppl who can afford to attend these events are just lookin for a ****-fight

Maybe a PPV special.
One of every 10 people caught boo'ing get to go in against Tank between cards and and try it their own way.

As the UFC expands and goes national, there's gonna be more and more idiots in the audience that don't know anything about MMA. Hell, they're selling tickets and causing the sport to expand in a huge way, and will probably result in a future raise in pay for the fighters. I wouldn't complain, just like Patrick Cote didn't. He embraced it.

That's one reason why I like watching Pride more then UFC. Japanese fans respect the sport and aren't just blood thirsty WWE fans.

Support Mixed Martial Arts, not Ultimate Fighting

Yeah...it's ruins it for us. But, what can they do at the event? Yell at the crowd to shut up? That'll just make 'em boo louder, so we just need to deal with it.

I like how Patrick Cote dealt with it....had me cracking me up.

"Thank you everybody who booing me, I'LL BE BACK!, and you will be able to booing me again...THANK YOU!!"

HAHA...That's awesome.

just rampage. im ok with booing as a way for fans to voice their distaste for a fight...but there are times to boo and times not to boo.

time to boo:

smith and cote: cote had him rocked more than once and refused to press the action and finish = good boo (even though cote handled it well)

syliva could finish monson at any time but chooses to sit back and jab his way to victory = good boo

time not to boo:

rampage feeling out eastman for the first 20 seconds in his octagon debut = ignorant boo

GSP Dan Henderson Sean Sherk Tyson Griffin Mark Hunt
Prospects Draft: Dong Hyun Kim & Roger Hollett

Agreed. Also, I would've booed the **** out of Lutter. Silva/Lutter for the title wasn't very interesting to begin with, take away the possiblity of a fluke title change and it becomes MUCH less interesting. His lazy ass didn't make weight and the result was a much less interesting match up for the fans. I know Lutter was dissapointed too, to say the least, but I still consider it a very valid reason to boo.

Rogan said that Lutter doesnt have a coach. If its not because he cant afford one then i gotta say he must be the most arrogant mofo ever.

How much does he think he knows to be able to teach himself everything to compete in a weight class with dangerous guys Franklin and that *****ing brazillian (Silva). I think he is lucky to have fought Silva, because clearly Silva was not even trying to sprawl as he knew he would submit Lutter.

On the other hand if Lutter had to go in against Franklin, he would have been picked apart and destroyed as Franklin the master sprawler would have kept it standing up while delivering those nasty strikes. Kind of GSP v Sherk style, just worse.

1 Dimensional Fighters Suck Balls. GSP + Silva+ Jackson + All others who can go standing or on the ground = Future of the sport

Very true. It's so strange to me, that in a modern time where anyone copeting in MMA, knows what MMA is all about, we still have some guys who think having only one skill will help them... But, you see it time and time again; those one-dimensional fighters falling away as more well rounded ones take the positions...

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it
