Am guessing steroids played a big part in how he was able to take him down.

Let me rephrase, because a fighter has past wrestling credentials, does not always mean that they are going to be a better MMA wrestler than someone without those credentials.

There are other aspects such as takedowns that are learned while practicing BJJ or Judo techniques. Not to mention working out of the clinch or shooting for the takedown in MMA is much different than doing it in a wrestling match.

Now if you weren't so busy trying to think of a witty and sarcastic response, you may have realized that.

Ofcourse we understood your post. Its just an incredibly stupid thing to point out. Its one of those things you say just to start an argument or something. Wrestling credentials certainly mean alot but of-course at the end of the day they are just credentials. Your post is pointless and not in any way helpful. If you weren't busy trying to start pointless arguments you may have realized that.
