Machidas Chance To Break His Losing Streak Is Against......

RANDY

Quote:
Randy Couture isn't retiring after all.

Couture and Lyoto Machida have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 129 on April 30 in Toronto, MMA Fighting has learned from sources close to the fight. Couture also confirmed the fight when asked by MMA Fighting at UFC 125 on Saturday night.

The event will be the UFC's first in Toronto and will be held at the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

However, another UFC source states that this fight has been discussed, but it's "not even close" to being finalized as of yet.

When asked by MMA FIghting at UFC 125 if the fight with Machida was a possibility, Couture stated that he had not signed a contract, but had verbally agreed to face Machida in 2011.

lol what is there to look forward to? Machida is going to kill this dude. I know to never underestimate randy as he has proved me wrong time and time again. But this is machida, randy can't strike with a average striker, machida is different and way faster. randy strength is takedown, machida is hard to take down and will randy chase him around for the takedown?

Randy is an underdog for sure, but I don't think I can bet against the man.

Couture shouldn't be that huge of an underdog.

If Rampage can clinch Machida against the cage to win, I don't see why Couture can't.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

29-28 split for Randy after three rounds of Machida "evading" Randy's take down attempts all night but still getting pressed up against the cage every now and then.

Gameplan: Clinch against cage and dirty box for 12-13 minutes, cause the other minutes remaining will be Machida evading.
