I'll take a couple of premature stoppages over fighters literally getting killed in the cage/ring every day.

fighers are NOT killed because of a 10 count....they are killed because of brain trauma cased by REPEATED blows to the head. all a 10 count does is decide if the fighter REALLY is hurt or not.

NO. It gives a guy who is already possibly concussed a chance to slightly recover and take more shots to the head. Which can lead to brain damage etc.

10 counts and standing 8's do kill and maim fighters. they're out, and concussed. but it gives them a chance to "recover" so they can take more punishment. if they were out, why have them keep fighting? its a really dumb and harmful concept.

lets just say for a second that brain damage isn't caused by being punched in the head so much. how is the rule supposed to be enforced? Suppose for example someone has full mount on some poor sap and is raining in the blows, the ref is supposed to stop the guy with mount and give the other guy a chance to stand up? Now lets say he can still stand? now what? do they go back to the previous position they were in or do they restart standing? In this scenario both are stupid as you have just gave the mounted person a chance to find there wits and stratagize a way to get out of the bad position when they should have been finished off right there.

Nerves got the best of Rampage, his father was watching him plus his first fight in the UFC.Over rated,NO way! More like too much self induced pressure. ...And I say NO way to an 8 count, this aint boxing,it's MMA.

i do like Rampage. he's bringing some real colour back to what is getting to be a boring division with Chuck dominating everyone. I do think Chuck is too good for him now. He'd knock Rampage out in two max. If Sylva can ko rampage, then Chuck will too.

hmm i have to disagree with how you came to this conclusion. just because one person can knock someone out doesn't mean that another can. Wanderlai Silva knocked out Fujita, does that mean Chuck can? not necessarily. they have completely different fighting styles. While Silva relies on his Muay Thai skills, Chuck is pretty much a straight boxer.
