Awesome vid, but maaaan I really don't know who to pick in this one ... Jackson's guys are on a roll atm and I'm gonna actually find it difficult to bet against Guida.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

Same here, bad match-up for me, i want both of them to win. The LW division is becoming one of my favorites for the first time. Edgar-Maynard coming, Pettis, Guida, Guillard and so on. So many great fighters and so much going on.

let me tell you guida is pretty underrated i could see him as champ, he has one kryptonite however and that is subs, whenever he is finished it is always by sub, i think only kenny florian and soti and maybe miller could beat a in form guida, but not pettis.

I actually think Guida's going to take this one. Working with Greg Jackson he's going to come in with another solid gameplan, use his wrestling, and grind Pettis out, probably to a decision victory. I'd not be surprised to see Pettis take the win, and see this as a very tough fight to call, but if forced to pick between the 2 I'd go Guida.

Not really, yes there was the head-kick and a few early uppercuts. But anyway, what relevancy does it have here?

Hm I don't see him winning the belt, but I do see him having a very good crack at it. He'll probably be able to control Pettis, however as you said - Miller and Soti (Florian already put on a clinic against him) would beat him, and I'd also like to see how Guida would do against Bocek.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

What that means, at least in my view, is that he is going do get destroyed by Pettis' standup. Diego is nowhere near as technical or quick as Pettis is standup wise.

Yeah that spaz head movement thing isnt going to work either on Pettis. The man can strike, if anything at all.

Makes me laugh that people think just because Pettis has some fancy kicks he is going to cut it in the top end of the UFC LW division, dream on two words Bruce LeeRoy, Pettis is getting no where near that belt not now not ever, well maybe in the long distant unforeseeable future who knows what will happen if he grows as a fight anyone can grow and anyone can fall there is no guarantee just because he is young and hyped up that he will ever come good tho.

Guida is going to be he first of many to Wreck him.

In fact 99% of WEC fighters are fcuked now they are in the UFC, you think the merge was good for the WEC fighters and the divisions, nobody won and nothign benefits, the LW's are not going to cut the grade and get cut, the FW and BW divisions are going to be nothing more than the odd fight on the under card and in the prelims yet these spaces where still valuable to give fight time to the heavier weights who will miss out and also suffer, and a side from the odd match up here and there UFC cards are now starting to look more and more like the second rate quality of fighters that the WEC cards where.
