I would love to see GSP and Silva go at it. That would be an excellent fight.

Two of the quickest fighters in the UFC, I think at 185 GSP would overpower Anderson Silva.

It'll be an interesting fight, though GSP maybe the more powerfull, Anderson's reach and striking is much more superior. I'm curious how GSP will react to Anderson's knees and clinch. I'm 50-50 on this one.

I dont care about a Hughes/GSP rematch but if I dont see a GSP/Penn rematch I'll be pissed. As long as that happens before he moves up I dont care what he does.

something strange happens whenever I paste an mma*news.com link...

it always turn up like this: *******.com.
I dunno why.
So I just have to insert one * so the letters won't turn into asterisks.

try typing in your reply: mma*news without the * and see what happens. It must be a forbidden word around here. It's like typing a curse word or something...

But anderson on the other hand could be very cool to see
exactly what I think, hem ight give Silva a run for his money, but challenging Liddell would be a VERY big mistake on his part.

I'm pretty sure GSP overpowers him even at 170lbs.

Pretty sure GSP walks around at around 180-185, so I don't see how everyone is saying he would lose strength and speed at MIDDLEWEIGHT. I can see him definitely having a disadvantage at 205 because of his height and weight, but he could dominate at middleweight just as easily (if not easier) as he does with WW. And the only reason he had to start taking down BJ was cuz he got thumbed in the eye and cut, BJ is notorious for loose thumbs in eyes too; not taking away anything from BJ, he's one of my alltime faves

yeah he said in an interview that his living weight is 185 exactly. so he'd really only need to gain about 10 pounds and then cut weight from 195 to 185 so he can build some of it back up after a weigh in. going to LHW would be much more difficult. clearly he would lose some speed making this transition.
