Lesnar Interview part 2

As a Brock fan I'm really glad to hear he is bringing back Greg Nelson who has been absent the past 2 fights.

He actually mentions Greg in the part 1 of the interview so I was thinking he was bringing him back. Hopefully Greg works on that fear of getting hit.

Why is the camera so low?

And I wonder if this season could actually hurt Brock's star power. A lot of people like to watch fights to cheer against the bad guy or the larger than life character but without Mir or someone like him to egg Brock on he might show up as a layed back guy. And that isn't how you get huge ratings.

I don't really think people just watch him because hes the 'bad guy'. He was popular before he had his UFC 100 out burst.

I think people are just interested in him because he is this freak of nature. Regardless if he wins or loses or goes to a decision, you know it will be a suspenseful 15 minutes.

The trend seems to be that the more laid back and non-dramatic he behaves, the more MMA fans he actually wins over.

Brock was hated after his UFC 100 antics, then was respected after his humble side came out after Carwin and the seemingly new demeanor post serious illness.

He gets more respect and fans on forums but I'm talking about casuals and new fans. I was always under the impression that drama and over the top behavior is what gets reality shows ratings.

I think Brock is going to get his azz beat again.

Though I have to give it to him, nobody else in the HW division (in any org) has taken on the likes of Carwin, Velasquez and JDS (and all in a row!!!!!). The man steps up to the plate every time!
