Which fight is more super-duper?

Ok, this question worms its way into so many threads, I figured I shall entertain myself with a poll to see once and for all how we fans feel about it. Seeing as the good folks of MMAF are by far the most intelligent and avid supporters in the universe, the results of this poll will be completely representative of ALL mma fans across the globe... 100% conclusive and final.

Silva vs GSP

or

Silva vs Shogun

You can have one fight, but not both. Which do you want to see?

Ive said many times before I find Silva vs GSP very meh. Even though GSP might have a good chance of winning... its still meh. Right now, today, Silva vs Shogun is the daddy. THE mega-super-turbo-X-fight.

Do you agree?... or are you wrong?

For me it's easily Silva/Shogun. Silva/GSP = meh for me.

Silva vs. GSP.
They've been at the top of the P4P list for years, how can it not be the biggest fight possible?

I'm surprised that 30% picked Shogun, I'm guessing they are GSP haters. While I would love to see shogun and silva throw down, nothing will be as monumental as the two top p4p fighters finally going at it. Give GSP a tune up fight at 185 after Jake Shields and let these two make history.

Because Silva and Shogun are the same size for a start. Nobody can deny that GSP beating Silva does more for his legacy then Silva beating GSP. Silva is bigger. Of that there can be no question.

Silva vs Shogun is a battle of two superb strikers with very different styles. My testicles are tingling at the very thought of it.

The obvious choice is Silva vs Shogun, for me mainly because they are in/have been in the same weight class.

Silva vs GSP makes no sense to me at all, GSP is a Welterweight, Silva is ideally LHW. I feel many people talk about Silva vs GSP because of the name size, and haven't thought it through.

But seeing as Dana is actually considering it, I predict Silva wins via KO or submission, the fight will be competitive but GSP won't finish Anderson.

I think that the format of a monumental fight is more dependent on the name vs. name factor rather than style vs. style.

In general, I agree. Nothing gets the public more whipped up then big names. But for me, Style is everything.

I select "The Spider vs Shogun". But the biggest fight I want to see in MMA is Fedor vs Alistair, comparing to that any UFC fight imaginable is just the co-main event

Favorite fighters:
1. Badr Hari
2. Remy Bonjasky
3. Mauricio Rua
4. Anderson Silva
5. Alistair Overeem
