I mean.. that must have been pretty embarrassing. Vitor did good and was winning in my opinion until Silva made him smell his toes.

No but just as good as the pettis kick, vitor got caught. Forrest just got destroyed,recycled than killed by silva.

There wasn't enough action for anyone to really be winning. It was an amazing kick. Nothing to be embarrased about.

i don't think u understand, nobody gets ko from a front kick. Its a kick u use to push your opponent back not ko them.

Well there certainly is something to be embarrassed about. I know you probably like to think "They both had the balls to step in the octagon, there is no reason they should be embarrassed". But that isnt true... your performance still matters. Vitor just got knocked out by a "Smell my toes" kick in-front of millions of viewers. You certainly cant tell me that if you were in his position you wouldn't be the least bit embarrassed? Especially after all the pre fight hype and advertisements going on.

If i was Vitor i would want a fight AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so this fight can be put behind him.

I was thinking the same thing, and I need to see the kick a couple more times to be sure, but from the way it looked from the replay, it seemed like it was an actual strike.

Most push kicks, the knee comes up first and then thrusts forward, but Silva's kick was straight legged, and only bent at the hip.

In short, there wasn't alot of 'pushing' going on.

no, anderson clowned forrest like no other. vitor just got caught with a great front kick by a superior fighter.
