Silva/GSP is MMA's version of Pac-Mayweather; it's the clash of pound for pound kings that everybody wants to see and everyone has split opinions about. Honestly Dana White needs to make it happen, nobody wants to see Okami get destroyed by Silva so that would be pointless.
Personally i still think GSP will beat Silva via wrestling as that is still a weakness in Silva's game. Hell, even Belfort took him down for a bit before they stood back up, and he's a striker!

I can't even remember how many times Dana said that Silva is just too big for GSP. That Silva is almost a LHW and GSP a WW, so the size difference would be too big.

But this fight would break PPV buys = lots of MONEY!! So it needs to happen, especially now that Silva has positive hype arround him after this performance.
Dana knows that if Silva gets to fight Okami he might do something strange or stupid again, that could affect his image.

But, if this fight happens, i don't think it will happen untill october-december!

GSP has said on multiple occasions that if he goes up to MW it's gonna be for good, or at least a long time, and he needs to do the bulking up part perfectly.

With a fight at the end of April, i don't think he will have enough time to do it, until UFC Brazil - end of august!

Think about it - GSP will need to bulk up, with the idea that he isn't coming back at WW.

On a funny note: all the welterweights, not named Georges St. Pierre had multiple orgasms!

I thought I said the same thing in my 1st post lol and even came up with a more elaborate solution. Just let the Okami fight happen first while GSP has time to rest from the Shields fight and time to properly bulk up. GSP NEEDS more time off than Anderson Silva, so why not throw Anderson a fight in the meantime? Just keep the promise and let Okami fight him first, and get thrashed like people expect, And then after that they both should be properly ready. It works out for everyone. Imagine if Okami and/or Shields busts a Serra and puts a wrench in everyones plans and becomes the new champ? What then?

That's what the UFC/Dana is a bit affraid off!
Even though it looks unlikely, Okami has his shot.
He is a big strong dude, is intelligent, knows how to use his strengths, doesn't rush into fights, likes to fight safe, so Anderson would have to go after him a bit.

Plus, Okami is training with Sonnen for more than a year now, and since then he has shown big improvements on his ground game, especially the ground control. And he's a Judo black belt with much better BJJ than Sonnen,

The guy is 10-2 in the UFC and has fought Silva once - that DQ loss for Silva.

Let them fight sometimes at the end of June-middle of July.
If both, GSP and Silva will win their fights, than go ahead: make GSP vs Silva!!!
At the end of the year!
And, on card they could add the return of Cain, and they will sell 1.7-2 million PPVs.
