Does GSP still want to fight Silva?
When this fight was at its peak silva fought maia, then chael. GSP did say he wants to fight. But now seeing that the rib injury was real and silva is even deadly as before do u think GSP wants this fight?
Plus anyone who has seen silva fight its take effort to take him down and keep him there. Never mind the chael fight but when u take silva down he pops right back up. In that sonnen fight he may have been hurt but he was just chilling at the bottom not really moving.

Also keep in mind Chael is Huge..Used to fight at 205. He's a better blanket wrestler then GSP. Chael was on Testosterone Booster or Roids your call. And Silva had hurt ribs, and barley moved on his feet..But yet still over came all this and won.
I still think GSP will take Silva down at will, but won't keep him there or GSP will get caught in a triangle. I fear GSP getting caught in Andy's muay thai clinch, he's so little.

i do now that people see the light that silva would kill gsp. But for years people like u lol taught this fight was a must and gsp would win. Me being me said hell naw, so pretty much for 2 years people have been debating about this fight as to who would win. Now its finally here I just want to see to put an end to the debates.

As much as im a Anderson fan, this would be a hard fight for Silva because of how freaky good GSP is on the ground....
This fight hast to happen to make who is #1 fighter on the planet clear, and DAna sees that Anderson Silva is getting old and he needs to do this in there prime.
So i can see this happening before the end of the year, its going to be a crazy amazing fight

GSP is definitely hesitant. If he loses it will be a road bump on his career. It'll be legacy vs legacy.
GSP can win as I'm sure he will go for a leg lock or a tricky submission move. He can't out jab em, out kick em, or even outstrike em, doubtful he can GNP his way to victory, clinching would not be wise. GSP would have to fight the perfect fight, because as I've said time and time again. All it takes is one small mistake and it's GAME OVER. Anderson Silva is that deadly. People just don't understand him. He's not going to risk his belt, sponsorship dollars, and legacy by fighting to Thales or Maia's strength. He's got nothing to prove and tonight he showed why he's the #1 P4P and greatest MMA fighter on the planet.

Silva would be a huge favorite at this point, GSP can win but as already mentioned he has to fight a perfect fight.
I rather see Silva move up and fight the top 1-3 at LHW than a tiny GSP.

i told you when i frst thought of this match up that gsp would just outwrestle him, then about 2 months ago i woke and said hey what the hell was i thinking anderson is a monster and he is a 205er, but my original question was wouldnt you rather see shogun vs silva? also bones vs silva is good too.

I really want to see the fight happen. I don't want to grow up and start wondering who would have won if Silva and GSP fought each other. Who is the real P4P king? Silva-Shogun might make for an awesome fight, but not many mention Shogun in their list of "Greatest of All Time". Silva-GSP is a fight between 2 of the best fighters in their division. Why wouldn't you want to see that!?!?
