WOW, Jones is huge! he will be champ for a long time.

Champ-serra vs gsp, u need to get off jbj nuts before u choke on it. How the hell do u go from beating ryan bader then being the champ for a long time. Let him fight shogun and judge from there. The lhw division is stacked, if he does beat shogun he still has as,machida.evans.tsilva, page, etc.

Edgar vs Maynard II.....a month or two ago..

This no chance nonsense is exactly that, nonsense.

Shogun could knock Jones silly with one punch.

JJ is by far the most amazing fighter for his Age, and i think he will win against Shogun due to his amazing ground game/wrestling, but its hard to say he will win against all the different styles the LHW division has to offer, it shall be fun to watch though!

Im a Jones fan but this is ridiculous. Yeah he's young and very talented, but Shogun was doing the same shit at his age, only against world class competition like Arona, Rampage, Overeem and Lil Nog...not freakin Matyushenko, Bader and Vera.

Jones hasn't fought anyone in the same stratosphere as Shogun, this is a giant step up. The gulf in skill between Bader and Shogun is pretty astronomical.

That, and Shogun is strongest in Jones' biggest weakness, his striking.

Yeah, when your TDD is crap and you're going up against one of the best TD artists in the game, I don't think striking is going to be the primary factor.

The main factor is going to be can Shogun put his token BJJ black belt to use and actually get a sub/reversal for a change, or will Jones take him down and pound his face in with elbows like he's done to everyone else.

Dont get me wrong i understand how big of a step this is, my point is that i never seen Jones truly tested and he has fought some high level competition and ran through them like nothing.

I know styles makes fights but i dont think Shogun could of ran through Bader like Jones did.

It will be a crazy fight, and i think Shogun will have a solid game plan but i also think that Jon Jones will want NOTHING to do with Shoguns stand up, because i know Shogun has better hands and kicks, but i also know people that throw a lot of kicks get taken down a lot as well.

And thats how i see this fight going, but its MMA man anything can happen, but when i watch Shogun vs Coleman, or Shogun vs Forrest, or Shogun vs Machida the second time, i know Shogun can get taken down and controlled, and i thought Rashad was a good match up for Shogun and i was going to bet on Rashad to win just cause of his ground game.

And on top of all the momentum JJ's has and how badly he wants it also helps.

I dont think Jones will run through Shogun by any means but i do see him winning this fight, and we will see wont we

WTF? He swept both Coleman and Machida numerous times.

Do you know the definition of control?

As long as he doesn't gas he should be alright.
