Rumour has it Thiago Silva might have a problem with his UFC 125 drug screening
It an interesting twist, UFC light heavyweight contender, Thiago Silva could be pulled from his UFC 130 fight on May 28th with Quinton “Rampage” Jackson but not for anything to do with an injury as it was first reported earlier today.
According to MMAJunkie.com, the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s Executive Director, Keith Kizer has revealed that one drug screening from UFC 125 is still under investigation, although he wouldn’t confirm which fighter it was. He did however confirm that Silva was tested at the event.
Silva looked notably stronger and bigger during his win that night over former heavyweight contender, Brandon Vera where he walked away with a dominant unanimous decision win. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this situation as we get it.

He seems like he could potentially juice. I hope it isn't the case but we will see. Why do they take so long to announce these things?

Surprise, surprise. They should definitely bring Vera back if Thiago comes out positive for performance enhancing drugs. I was surprised at how strong durable he seemed, something he hadn't shown up until 125. Makes his mocking and dick antics towards Vera seem even more messed up.

I'd be okay with him getting cut after this, dickish antics towards Vera, starting the gossip campaign against Jon Jones, failing to deliver in big fights, and cheating. |
