Personally I would give Shields more of a chance in this fight then in the GSP one.

First of all Shields doesn't deserve it. Second of all nobody wants to see this bull crap of a fight.

Shields has no stand up whatsoever. It's going to be a Thales/Maia fight at best. Cat and mouse game. Even if Shields submitted em it would not prove anything that we don't already know. Anybody can lose on a given day. Look at Fedor. Still doesn't change my views of him as the greatest HW ever.

GSP then Shogun/JBJ is what we all want to see.

He asked who would win the fight, he didn't ask if you want to see it or not.

(\(\;;/)/)

Shields is a top WW, but i can't think of anyone in WW or MW that can beat (\(\;;/)/)

However if Shields beats Safe Pierre and wants to fight Silva, i think they should.. cos Silva will also get the WW belt.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Shields take out a UD. Silva won't be able to stuff his TDs and Shields may be too hesitant to go for submissions from the top in case he jeopardises his position.

So yeah - Shields via decision.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

The only way Shields could win is if he somehow stole Patrick Cote's chin and blitzed Anderson continuously until he got a takedown.

Otherwise it's gonna be Anderson back-peddling until he finds the gap for a flash KO.

I actually did answer it somewhat. Shields is more than capable of submitting him, but the odds are in Silva's favour to take him out before he gets a chance.

GSP, then Shogun/JBJ!!!

Shields would probably Sonnen his way through the fight before eventually getting knocked out.

Pointless match up IMO.
