Could Jon Jones Ever Fight Anderson Silva?

He's going to beat Shogun. And he'll lock the belt like GSP and Silva. When he does, could he ever face Anderson Silva?

I personally think he could be one of the few men on the planet that could beat Silva....(keep in mind I'm saying that as a silva fanboy, who's hanging from his nuts).

Silva is already 36, by the time JBJ could pull off multiple title defenses, Siva will be retired.

You.. honestly think Jones is going to beat Shogun..? What.

Do you have any idea how badly Shogun is going to murder him?

I love Jones and all but he's not ready for Shogun. By Jones's age, Shogun had accomplished so many titles and defences and just has way more experience and knowledge of the sport then Jones. It's gonna end badly.

Sure I suppose, if he loses to Shogun it would be a great fight for AS since he doesn't seem to want to compete for the title.

Personally I would take JBJ over AS due to his wrestling and GnP...although I did think he left a lot of openings for Vera when he was in guard, must have just been me though cuz Vera didn't do anything except get smashed.

assuming he will walk thru Shogun because he has dominated guys like Vera and Bader?? Big mistake. He may very well win the fight but to already be making plans for his future like superfights vs Anderson is really silly at this point. Midaswell move him up to HW and grab the title from Cain with NP too.

Shogun is a real fighter, he's gonna put Jon Jones to sleep, no need to send him to Anderson.

Jones leaves those long ass limbs waiting to get armbar'd.

Vera was cognisant of the opportunity, but was trying to be sly about going for it... you could see him eyeballing it from his guard. But then, Jones turned his face into pudding.

There's alot of reasons why this will never happen, but an easy one I think to put the nail in the coffin is that A.Silva doesnt want to fight at LHW period.
