Randy moved down from HW to LHW because he struggled against larger guys, tim is bigger than anyone he has been in the ring with before. It follows that randy will find it hard against tim. I'm not say tim will win or that i want him to win but randy will have to do somethink special in this fight to win.

He lost to Josh Barnett and then he lost to Ricco Rodriguez. Thats two back to back loses. Around this time Tim Sylvia and Gan McGee came on the scene and Randy felt he just couldn't compete with those giants anymore.

I dont see tim sylvia beating randy, they brought him in for two reasons.
1. to dethrone sylvia which gives cc some contenders to fight before he gets a title shot
2. to add to the hw div
I just cannot picture sylvia beating randy up.
I can picture randy beating the shit out of tim tho.

Actually Tyson lost to Lewis as an amature...then early on in his reign as heavyweight champion Tyson was supposed to have a mandatory fight with Lewis (boxing instituted mandatory fights based on contender status to try to eliminate "paper champions" which are guys who fight only bums in an attempt to hold on to the title for as long as possible) and Tyson's handlers paid Lewis 4 million dollars to step aside and not fight. It made a lot of people lose massive respect for Lewis and ask are you in it to be the champion, the best or are you in it for the money? Where's your heart? Oddly enough it didn't seem to bother Tyson fans and boxing didn't really talk about it all that much. Why would they, Tyson knocking out bums in 30 seconds was making boxing exciting again an drawing huge numbers of new fans, record pay per-views, etc. I was young, stupid caught up in the hype and I would have battled to the death with anyone who claimed that Tyson wasn't the best there ever was. I was wrong...I was foolish. I was just like the legions of UFC fans who believe with all their might that fighters like Rich Franklin, Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell are the best of the best. |

I thought he was "The Natural" though? Now if randy somehow beats Tim, what the hell is he gunna do? Beat Cro Cop bahahahahahahha, yea ok sure thats gunna happen. I could see him somehow beating tim, but the odds are heavily against him. He would barely be able to beat arlovski aswell. Pretty much, for randy to be coming back and already to be alowwed a the top of the totem poll, he is gunna have some hardcore competition. If he goes out with one win id be surprised.
