Yeah, BJ is always bitching about cutting, I really don't believe he's a natural FW, he's outsizes several lightweights and walks around at WW.

I say nowadays a 'natural' to a weight class is someone who walks around at the weightclass above, although I do know that many hang out at 2 above, it still isn't 'natural'.

Anyway BJ Penn ain't cutting to FW anytime soon, and I don't think its fair to guys like Frankie Edgar, Jens Pulver, Kenny Florian etc. to say BJ is comparatively light for his class.

BJ is a hall of famer in terms of legacy, nowadays you can still call him 'elite', but not in P4P contention (Fitch outcome notwithstanding)

Lol at all this Bj penn hate, bj is like mike tyson both have issue mentally. When their mind is stable their the best. But mike has been unstable since he landed in jail in the early 90s. Bj gives us signs then regresses then gets stable then regresses. When he is stable mentally he is the best just like anderson silva said. BJ penn is incredible gifted but i think he gets bored easily that why he keeps coming up with his crazy stunts such as fighting anybody. Bj penn plays down to his competation, if greg jackson gets a hold of him and makes him work a game plan he is unbeatable. No one can explain y he never took franky down even though he was quite successful when he did.
