Long interview. Dana talked for almost 9 minutes and said almost nothing.

Sounds like if Bisping wins he will fight Okami for the next title shot.

I like at 1:15 where Ariel says "detriment" and Dana's scratching his head it seems thinking "what the fawk does detriment mean?"

Always enjoy his interviews, it's always interesting to see his perspective on things seeing as he runs the show.

Don't agree with his opinion of Fedor but I have to say the guy was spot on when it comes to Fitch you can't always get the finish. Personally, I don't think finishing fights is important.

Always rooting for: Bisping, Shogun, Jon Jones, Daley, Hardy, Sonnen, Fedor, Couture, Jacare.

Yea one thing about Dana is that he will tell it like it is about his own guys, but you may as well stick a sock in his mouth when it comes to his views on anyone outside the UFC, sad thing is some don't see that they will only really follow the UFC and think well Dana always talks the truth about what they know about the UFC fighters then take him literary on non-UFC MMA issues, truth is his HW's suck compared to the competition Fedor is facing at SF, and how can he rate 2 of his ex-champions as guys that suck.

The Mark Hunt vs Chris Tuchscherer HW fight is the first HW fight so far this year the UFC is giving us, and he thinks that his division is the strongest HW division in the world, he is not stupid he knows he is talking sh1t but fights hard to keep the illusion alive.

I love how Dana thinks that Strikeforce's HW division is "not that good" right.

Problem with UFC HW division is a large gap between the top guys and the rest, it's not very steady skill-wise. JDS and Velasquez trump EVERYONE in the division and are easily as good as Strikforce's top fighters, Carwin too is a beast, and the rest are solid but not fantastic.

What makes it even harder to decipher at HW, is that large newcomers always have the chance of KOs because they are so big, and sometimes it makes them look better than they are. JDS and Carwin have set a new standard for newcomer knockout streaks though and they're not easy to match.

So I don't think the UFC HW division is thin or lacking, but Dana will get flak whatever he says. Wouldn't be wise to run about telling everyone that another company has better fighters, would it?

I really can't comprehend why some of you get so upset when Dana says, 'UFC has the best HW fighters in the world'. For one, it's a fair, though obviously debatable point depending on who you ask. Second, the man is the President of the UFC... do you really expect him to come out and declare that UFC has an okay HW division, but that SF is where the truly elite can be found? The fact that some of you get so upset over a man who's playing it smart and exercising basic business sense gives me a chuckle each and every time. If Scott Coker was in Dana's position as opposed to playing second fiddle, you'd likely hear the same from him, albeit without the cursing and sarcasm.
