Fighters normally don't stop fighting when they reached there Prime!

That would be like saying Lyoto should hang them up lol^^ thats hilarious

BJ is a top 3 WW and a top 3 LW. He would have beaten Fitch if Cardio wasn't the issue again.. however he can fix that I believe and beat Fitch in the rematch.

BJ went way out of his element, stylistically, for the challenge of this fight with Fitch. No other fighter in the UFC would do this. Even though he came to a draw, it's impressive that he pushed Fitch and took two rounds from him. BJ is basically a fat WW and he went against someone who is much bigger. I think after he recollects himself, he'll take the rematch. A rematch will be even tougher for Penn because Fitch saw the best possible gameplan BJ could have brought to a fight against him. I wouldn't want to see a rematch, honestly.

They need to stop matching BJ up with wrestlers that just want to outpoint him. I wonder if BJ would ever consider going to Strikeforce. I think he could have interesting fights with Nick Diaz, Paul Daley or even Cyborg.

watched this earlier today. I think Bj will be back. I used to hate him so much back in the day b/c he always seemed so cokcy to me, but he's grown on me over the years. I have mad respect for his fighting ability. He really changed my mind after the Sherk fight.

I'd love to see him back b/c he's good promoter for fights and the UFC.

Too many people trying to read what Penn is thinking. Hes just lost a fight. Hes allowed to be a bit despondent for a while.

Personally, I thought it was an amazing Penn performance. Again, willing to take himself out of his element and have some fun.

BJ Penn is a legend.

I agree, BJ that fought fitch would roll over Edgar.

It's the same BJ, the difference is the weight class and the opponent. BJ and Edgar fought twice and BJ had no counter to Edgar's game plan, speed and "boxing advantage". BJ looked epic picking Fitch up and grappling with him, but that's because Fitch was dancing the same dance as BJ. It has no bearing on how BJ would fair against Edgar, a match we've seen played out twice now.
