Man, if you've never seen Avatar in 3D at one of the gigantic IMAX theaters, you can't judge. I'm probably over hyping it because I was drunk but it was ******* awesome.

I completely agree, the quality of the 3d in that movie was insane. It completely changed what I thought the capbilities of a movie are. I havent seen sports in 3d yet, I need to check that out.

I hate NFL but I saw a bit of a game in 3D and it just made me want to sit down and watch the whole thing.

Just picture a nasty cut and blood squirting everywhere...in 3D! awesome!

The only problem with 3D is that I would have to buy a TV, and I usually don't do that, being fine with modern internet.

So I'm not buying a TV, let alone a pricey 3D one, but I'm considering upgrading the PC display whenever possible/somewhat affordable.

Smartphones are practical if you can afford and if you actually have some use (professional)
HD vids are awesome, we all agree on that
3D might be awesome as well, but right now it's too expensive
