Despite the recent victories, boring fights don't sell PPVs and put asses in seats. He has every right to think Jackson's camp is boring. One of Dana's best traits is his honesty.

He has this right. No doubt!

Even though i think he is full of shit! And the latest performances put together by Jackson Camp fighters are anything, but boring.
Although, *boring* is such a strong word and has a very subjective side to it.
Too many people mistake the word boring/boredom for something they don't understand.

I'll give him Marquardt's performance against Okami. His performance was far from what i would call exciting.
Although, not too long ago Dana had Marquardt's nuts deep in his mouth after his amazing finishes against Wilson Gouveia, Demian Maia and Rousimar Palhares.
Fair enough: give fighters props when they deserve it and give them the thumbs down they don't deliver.
And he also talked about Rashad's performance against Rampage.

But, after being in this sport (more like business for him) for so long, he shoult know better than everyone that it takes 2 fighters to make a great fight.

If he wants to be honest all the way, than he should also criticise the guys who are fighting against Jackson Camp fighters, in fights that aren't that exciting.

.

I don't deny Jackson's camp's success. I'm actually a fan. Just saying that people shouldn't get so upset over what Dana says.

He has similar criticism though he didn't name names on the Lyoto V Rampage fight about cornermen telling Lyoto he was winning.

And despite it being an awful and hard to judge fight, he seemed pretty content with Rampage getting the decisive win because of it.

It was a really, really disrespectful and ignorant thing to hear from a president of the biggest MMA organization. Apparently being on of the best fighters in the world isn't good enough for the UFC.

I'm not upset by it, but it makes Dana look like a hypocrite. I don't know if that bothers him or not. And i don't care.

Like i've said: it's his right to say whatever he wants to. It's a free world and he is more than entitled to his opinion. Afterall he is the president of the UFC.

But, at the same time. If you *neg rep them" when they deserve it, then you should also "pos rep them" when they deserve it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Dana is not honest at all, he is perfectly willing to lie or show blatant hypocrisy if it lines the UFC coffers. He swears a few times and he somehow gets this rep for telling it like it is. Crap, he lies through his teeth all the time.

I think the main people he is talking about is GSP and Rashad.

Jon Jones is going to be Jon Jones hopefully and doesnt change. Stann is still new so he wants to finish fights, Noke is new as well. Guida is the only suprising one in that group.

And while GSP dominated Koschek, he didn't finish. He just jabbed away for 5 rounds.
To be fair that fight should have been stopped! Just look at what GSP did to Koscheck's eye!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Lets not forget GSP couldnt put away a one eyed opponent for the latter 3rounds how sad is that and theres talks of this chump going toe to toe with Silva LOL please GSP needs some dominant finishes if he dares to swim with the likes of anderson.
