Indeed. If you can't tell who won that fight without looking at compustrike and fightmetric you should probably a judge.

Compustrike /Fightmetric both suck, they count all strikes even the ones that are not really strikes or damaging for that matter.

Does anyone else think this judging thing is getting out of hand?

It's not the judging. MMA is too diverse and dynamic a sport to judge perfectly, everytime objectively.

Maybe there needs to be a five minute round over time for when there hasn't been a clear winner, I dunno.

Or a clearer point system for take-downs/knockdowns (like in kickboxing), a point system for damage done... anything.

I think the excessive use of the word bro and/or bra is getting out of hand along with the judging. I think 70 year old half blind men could judge some of these fights better. Anyway every time someone uses the word bro I cringe. When someone calls me bra even my good friends I call them out on it. Most ludicrous use of the english language I have ever heard.

I disagree with this. I had it 30-26 Sanchez.

Sanchez may have landed less strikes, had a striking accuracy of 27%, a takedown success rate of only 7% and got knocked down but he did get ONE takedown. That alone was more than enough to win him the fight, or at least make that round 10-8 for him. Kampmann needs to spend less time damaging his opponents and more time desperately shooting in for sloppy takedowns.
Hehe epic post!
