Silva vs. Okami in Japan this year?

Since the UFC is planning to hold an event in Japan this year, one could think that a possible title fight between the champ Silva and No.1 contender Okami is very possible.

Okami is not only the No.1 contender but as most of you know the last man to defeat Silva.

This set up would put japanese fans in the seats and I think this match could be a huge thing in Japan for the UFC.

What is your opinion? Do you think this is something that can happen? Do you even wanna see it?

Thanks for discussing.

If GSP or Anderson dont agree terms then yes i want Okami to get the shot then id like to see Bisping fight Sonnen in #1 contender match.

But like you say in Japan it would be crazy , they will have their best fighter going for the title and Anderson Silva one of the P4P best in the world who the Japanese know already from Pride. The Event would sell faster than the Nintendo 3DS.

Velasquez will be back

I think he ment a superstar like saku.

Your right they know him and all but IF Okami beats Silva for the title, that would be something HUGE.

That could bring a new "wave" to the japanese MMA fans and this time for the UFC also.

I'm more stoked for the UFC event in Japan than this fight TBH. The different audience, culture and so on. That fight would be huge and Okami deserves the shot against Anderson.

It would be a good opportunity for the UFC to break the MMA attendance record.

and yeah...he beat him...but did you watch the fight? he got schooled the whole time and won by getting KTFO...good job okami!

he will get schooled again

Roger's Center would be the not Japan MMA attendance record.
