Browsing through the MMA news this morning, it seems lots of outlets have picked up on the story. Headlines along the "Bones/Rashad WILL fight Rashad/bones" line.

All Bones said, in essence, is that if Dana gave him the choice between getting cut or fighting Rashad?... then he would do it. Rashad responds with his "I'm no punk" line, which is slightly over reactive when considering Bones original quote. Rashad should have talked about it with Bones. Clearly, going by his comments on MMA live, he hadn't. Instead he comes out with the aggressive "punk" line.

But now, this whole thing has picked up momentum. Not a single story coming from Bones or Rashad saying theres any misunderstanding.

Dana isnt going to cut Bones. No way. So... there is no fight, right?

If Jones ever fights Rashad, he should come out to a song that starts like this:

Rashad Evans is a punk, Rashad Evans is a punk, Rashad evans is a punk.

Go all Tito/Shamrock on him.

Jones and Rashad Willing to Fight

Looks like these two may bang it out after all:

Quote:
"I respect Dana White a lot and if that's what he absolutely wanted to happen then, you know, I guess that's what would have to happen. Me or Rashad (Evans) would not want to get fired over the situation. It would just be majorly awkward for us."
Rashad Evans replied on MMA Live:
"(Jon) Jones expressed last night in an interview that he would fight me for the title. So I guess (I have to fight him). I'm no punk."

Interesting. Sounds like Rashad just reacted to Jones' comment but i'm glad they are gonna fight.

Jones would probably train at Tri-star like Limba stated. Jones started there before moving to Jackson's main training center.

Evans has seniority at the gym so makes sense for him to train there or Grudge.

Maybe neither will have greg jackson in there corner as both there gyms have so many coaches.

There is a video about this and you can tell hes not pissed by his voice. Reading something on the internet and interpreting it your own way...yea , he may sound mad.

Rashad knows he will get his ass kicked by JBJ because he trains with him probably almost everyday, (I Assume because same camp)

So he tried to play the Buddy card now JBJ admits the truth and now Rashad just looks like a "Punk" if he doesnt say the same now.

I still see him avoiding JBJ though

Sig credit to my Homie! limba!
