Ryan Bader wants to bounce back from his loss to Jon Jones
I definitely think that the nerves played a part in the fight, he tried a sloppy double where he just extended his arms trying to get a hold of bones instead of shooting in, and he panicked and pulled guard which was incredible stupid.
As for his next fight i hope he doesn't get bonnar or tito as that will do nothing for him.
Prior fighting Jones I always said he's not a top LHW. He barely beat Lil Nog, who hasn't looked lethal as of late and other than Lil Nog there isn't a single name on his record. He was just really overhyped due to his 0 losses and the fact they wanted Bones Jones win to seem like hes definitely the next big thing.
Doubt we will ever see him fight for a #1 contender fight let alone the title

I think fighting Bonnar is a good test, but he won't engage with Bonnar - that dude is crazy! I see him using wrestling all fight long.
Fighting/beating Tito is irrelevant atm.
A fight against Forrest Griffin would give us a fair indication on where he is right now!

The forrest fight would be the best match-up for him now but forrest could be out for a while and he wants to get straight back into so it will probably be Franklin or maybe davis if he loses
I like how before the Jones fight he was gonna be the guy to test Bones' chin...
Now he's a B-Level fighter.
He always was! People just didn't realized it because of the amount of hype from the UFC. He didn't showed anything in his fights wich should have made you believe that he could even challenge Jones let alone give him any kind of trouble.
I would love to see Bonnar just outstrike or submitt Bader. I love Bonnar, but he's to use his Jitz more in fights, even though his striking and steel Jaw make him one of the more exciting fighters to watch.
