This is one of those fights where I think Kamal has a better shot than most think but i still cant bring myself to bet anywhere other than a Miller win.
I think so too, but I was actually referring to Miller saying in an interview with Ariel (and I'm paraphrasing here) that the WEC guys don't have what it takes to be in the UFC.

Should be a good win for Miller here, though I expect it to be fairly competitive. It won't be easy, but I don't think that his momentum will stop here.

If he does win, does anybody want to see him have a rematch with Maynard or Edgar? I can't picture either result changing. I see him losing another decision to both of them. Then again, I guess if he keeps winning like he has been, he deserves the chance to attempt to prove otherwise.

Shalorus is a good fighter but he got gifted a draw against Varner and Miller should be able to submit him.

I think Shalorus can pull an upster in here. To be honest i didn't even know who he was when this fight was announced, but after seeing a couple of his fights, he isn't a can at all and I don't think it will be an easy win for Miller.

There's no way Miller will submit Shalorus, he wont even be able to take him to the ground. Shalorus has the best wrestling in all of MMA and will keep the fight standing. Jim Miller should be able to still outstrike Kamal to a victory but with Kamal's heavy hands you never know.

1st point. Miller will likely submit Shalorus. Its what he does. Oh wait, I forgot about Shalorus' world famous submission defence.

2nd point. Miller I believe could take Kamal down. He'll use his jabs and feints to set up takedowns. Millers superior boxing skills will allow him this.

3rd point. Shalorus does NOT have the best wrestling in all of MMA. GSP has the most effective wrestling when used in MMA combat. Randy has the best Greco-Roman. And yeah you got, Jon Fitch, Lesnar, Kos, Sonnen etc... all who have long standing proven track record at being the best wrestlers in MMA. Kamal falls short of all these guys in my humble opinion.

If I'm wrong i'll eat my own face and post it on youtube.

Thats probably a mistake so i wont give you any grief but , to say theres no way Miller will submit his is silly. Jim is great off his back and his last fight showed he has killer instincts on the mat.

Isn't it Shalorus?

and man listen to this story, I've never heard it before:

Quote:
Every year, on August 27, Shalorus and his friends celebrate his birthday. But the truth is, Shalorus has no idea on which day, or which year, he was actually born.

“The Government of Iran says I’m 37, but I’m not,” says the former Olympic wrestler, who estimates his actual age is closer to 29. “Maybe I was born in 1978, maybe 1979, maybe 1975. I don’t know. I said, ‘Mom, what happened?’ She said, ‘Oh yeah, we had another son before you and he passed away. We could not go to city (to the hospital) because we had no money and it was snowing, so we just gave his birth certificate to you … It’s very common where I come from.”

forreal? CRAZY shit. to not know what age you are when you die or something? weird.
