This man has the right idea. This thread immediately burst into debate as the the skill sets of the two fighters.

The only thing I can think of to say is, Wow. What. A. GREAT. Fight. Wow. There is just so much to consider before making an argument for each fighter. I need a few days to digest.

I really hope they can take each other down, otherwise I think it's going to be three rounds of Maia outpointing Munoz on the feet.

1. Munoz is no Nate Marquardt.
2. Maia ain't making the same mistake twice - his standup has come a long way since then.

I actually see Maia beating Munoz everywhere, Maia via UD.

Thanks to limba for this AWESOME sig

cant agree with that, you guys thought cb would beat munoz too and what happened, maia has good bjj but he wont even get it there and munoz has big power and better hands resulting in a early KO

does any one else think Maia is that good he could just pull guard. either way i think he out point munoz with technical boxing. munoz along woth alot of powerful wrestlers (koscheck, hendo, bader & liddel) loop in wide power shots. some times it works if your good at it (hendo and chuck) i dont think munoz has it down yet.

This is a niiiiiice fight. I think it'll be close with Maia edging a UD or a late sub.
